More Bunny News......

Hi. All the bunnies are doing good. Im gonna update the website tonight. My pig 4-H leader (also my neighbor), had her pig at our place. Well, today she got butchered. Sad, I know. It's nice to not have her scremaing at me though! Im glad Sassy doesnt scream at you anymore.
Im also going to add a "FAQ" page to the website. Should be pretty snazzy soon. There really isnt much to talk about. Oh, my bunny from Qadoshyah, of Hoppin Herd Of Hares, is coming in a couple days. Thanks to my friend Destiny's parents, for bringing him to me. I plan to get some legs on him, then he will become part of our chocolate program.

BABY PICTURES!!!!

Hi. I got pictures of the baby Mini Lops!! They are looking better everyday! The broken chincilla, looks more shorter, and better type, then last night. Im gonna hold back the broken chincilla doe, and a gold tipped steel doe. I might hold back a buck, but most likely not. I plan on keeping the whole litter back until 12 weeks old. Anyways, here are the pics. Which ones do you like? Rember picture the broken chincilla shorter, and with more roundness. I like the darker broken gold tipped steel doe too. TTYL.

Bunny news....

Hi. Lana, suggested I use a "E Z Mat" for when Harley returns to a wire cage. We will give it a try! I was looking at the baby picture I put up...she doesnt look AS promising as I made her sound like. That pic is out dated though. They are really looking good! I have decided to hold back the broken chincilla doe, for sure. She is beautiful!

We are getting more bunnies. Somebody called me saying, somebody had dumped bunnies at a restraunt, and the bunnies are out in all this bad weather. (How could people dump animals off?) She will call me, when she catches them. Hopefully soon, before this weather takes a turn for the worst! Anyways, im gonna go get some baby pics. Bye! TTYL.

Baby Picture

Hi. Well, i got one picture of one of the baby Mini Lop does. She is a cutie! Im gonna go get everybodys picture in a minute. I will put the picture at the bottom of the post. All the bunnies are going good. Except for Harley. He has bad sore hocks. Im not sure why, he has a board, and a nice clean cage. Im gonna put him in one of the cages with a solid plastic bottom, until his sore hocks are gone. Anybody got any ideas for when I put him in the wire cage, once he recovers? Well, i will end this post with the picture of Secret Scores broken gold tipped steel doe. Doesnt she look promising?

Results!

Hi. I finally got the buck and doe thing resolved with the babies. Here are the results:

Secret Score X Roman: 4 Bucks, 4 Does.

Shasta X Thumper: 3 Bucks, 2 Does.

Gracy X Snickerdoodles: 4 Bucks, 3 Does.

Nakita X Snickerdoodles: 2 Bucks, 4 Does.

Overall it is a tie between the bucks and does. 13 total bucks, and 13 total does. I really like the crosses. Especially Secret Score, and Roman! I typed Secret's whole litter, and at this point, the whole litter is gonna stay back. They are all so nice!

I have decided I will keep 1 black steel looking doe from Gracy, and the whole litter from Secret Score. Of course I will only keep a few of Secret Score's babies when I make my cuts for Mini Lop Nationals.

The moms are all doing good. And the bucks too! Well, thats all for now. TTYL.

Drinking & Eating!

Hi. All the baby bunnies, are drinking, and eating! It is kind of cute to see them drinking! Not much is going on lately.

I cant wait till christmas! Im so excited!!! I got all my presents for all my animals.....OMG! I forgot the bunnies!!!! Oh, man! Well, i will have to come with something. TTYL

Conditioning Mix

Hi. I thought I would tell you about my new conditioning mix.

I have decided to make a conditioning mix for my rabbits. It will only consist of HEALTHY things for bunnies. I give 1/2 cup to my does with litters, once a day. I give 1/2 a cup every other day to does that are 10 days pregant, until kindling. I give 1/2 cup to my bucks, non pregant does, and show bunnies once a week. Here is my recipe:

3 cups of horse oats.
2 cups of PLAIN Quaker oatmeal
1 small bag of NON salted sunflower seed kernels
8 slices of dried oranges, or 6 slices of non dried oranges
1 1/2 CHOPPED carrots



Add oats, oatmeal,and sunflower seeds into a bowl. Chop oranges, and carrots finely. Then add to bowl.


There is the recipe! Let me know if you use it, and if your bunnies like it. Mine do! You can even add some of your regular bunny food, to help adjust them to it. Thats all for now! TTYL (talk to you later).

No more snow...

Hi. We did get 5" of snow here. It is expected to snow more! But right now, the sun is out. Hopefully not ALL the snow will melt. All the bunnies are handling this weather pretty good. All the water bottles were frozen yesterday. I put wooly socks on last night. So we will see how that holds up.

Some of the baby bunnies are starting to figure out how to jump, in and out of the box. Well, there isnt much to talk about. Just thought I let you know im still here! TTYL.

SNOW!!!!!

Hi. Yes it snowed here!!!!!!! And still is snowing!!!!!!!!! It is so exciting!!!! All the bunnies are doing great. I wish there were more shows this time of year. Roman is in a geourgeous coat right now!!! He holds his condtion really well!!! Secret Scores babies ears, are starting to lop! They are soo cute right now!! I have my eye on the broken black chincilla.

Somebody took one of the Mini Rex's the other day. I had my 2 dogs with me (Uno, and Shadow). Uno, never leaves my side, she has never worn a leash. Shadow hasnt worn a leash either, but she tends to be more independent. Shadow was up ahead, and we were walking to the house, and Jazimine my other dog, got out, and she came trotting up to Shadow. The second Jaz got up to Shad, Shad growled, and that made Jaz mad. They got in a small fight. Nothing big. They are still BFF's though.

Creampuff is looking sooo promising!!!!! I will type her again soon, and get some pics! She is gonna be soo nice!! She will defiantly be hitting the show tables. Well, thats all for now. TTYL.

Frozen Water Bottles

Hi. During this time of year, we all have promblems with frozen water bottles. I have found a solution, for my rabbitry. I use wool socks. I know, it may sound weird, but it works great!! I just slip the wool sock over the water bottle. With my "Flip N' Fill" water bottles, I cut a hole in the top, so I can pour the water in.

All the bunnies are doing good. I got 2 of the stacking cages in the rabbitry. They are very nice. (Now, that they are clean). Lol. Creampuff, is really looking promising!! Her head, could still be a tad better, but her type is coming very nice!! She is definatly getting some depth. And she is pretty wide!! Im a little unsure about her fur. It is kinda long, but that shouldnt matter to much. Im only gonna get 3 legs on her, then she is going into our chocolate breeding program.

Secret Scores babies have massive heads!! They are WIDE!

When I first started out in Mini Lops, I was looking for good type, and I didnt care about the head. Well, I got a little carried away, and there heads were keeping them from the tables. Well, then I went in search of rabbits with good heads. We have gotten some really nice heads, on our Mini Lop over the past year. Now we are improving the hindquarter. Creampuff has a beautiful hindquarter. She will have some awesome babies with the new bunny Im getting. We are getting a buck from Hoppin Herd Of Hares rabbitry, for our chocolate program. im hoping he will be here the end of December. (Lord willing).

More Cages...

Hi. I got the stacking cages from my friend today. I bought all 3. So I have 11 empty cages. The cages that I got from my friend are dirty!! They were caked with rabbit poop!! So, I took them to the car wash, and presure washed them. It worked really well!!!

All the baby bunnies are good. And all the grown up bunnies are good!!! I was gonna put my bucks in the little garage thing, but between the boat, lawnmower, and ATV there is no room!!

Ugh

Hi. I decided I would post a little more. I had to go eat dinner last night, so thats why I had to go. Shasta lost another baby, due to the same reson!! Im gonna put some hay around the nestbox, so incase another one falls out, maybe they will stay warm.

Im gonna go clean out the rabbitry today. Somebody is coming by to look at the bunnies, and maybe buy one. He isnt sure yet. All the other babies are doing great. I dont remeber if I told you or not, but i rebred Sweetpea last night to Oreo. These will be my last babies until Spring.

I got 2 more cages yesterday!! And im getting stacking cages from my friend!! She is getting out of rabbits, so Im gonna buy her stacking cages from her. Im sooo excited!! I will have TONS more cage space. We bought a little garage thing yesterday. Im gonna see if dad will let me put some bunnies in it. That would be soo cool!!!

Anyways, I have to go clean the rabbitry now. TTYL!!

Fun, Fun!!

Hi. I had a great time at the Arabian farm with my grandma. She has 5 horses. There names are: Allie, Matt, Angel, Honcho, and Barbie. They are all crazy, because they arent handled. I have been to this ladys farm like 3 times, at least. Honcho, is the BIG money earner there. Matt is cut out for endurance!! He is the perfect size, and boy is he FAST! Angel, is a hott head. She has a horrible habit of running through the gates! Its very annoying!! All my horses, and very well behaved in all areas. But not these guys!! I tried to fix her of the habit, but she has been doing it for 26 years. Soo, not much help. Barbie, is 28. She is a very sweet little mare!! She has a clubbed foot, but she can move if she wants too!! Allie, is my favorite! She is the most well behaved out of all of them. I love her!! She is sweet, and gourgeous!! But the vet thinks she has a rock in her belly, and in time, it has had stuff grown around it, and it is getting bigger! Poor Allie colics almost every night!! She may have to be put down!! :( I hope the vet is wrong. But most likely not. :(

All the baby bunnies are good!! One of Shastas got out of the box, and died. :( Shasta was talking to him when I walked in the rabbitry. She is such a good moma! All Shastas babies eyes are open. I rebred Sweetpea. I wont rebred Melody until Spring.

I also got 5 baby Mini Rex from a lady, that cant take care of them anymore. Im keeping one. Her color is Castor, and she will do VERY well on the tables!! Her name is Dutchess. Well, thats all for now. TTYL

Almost Christmas!!!!!!

Hi. Christmas is around the corner. Only 22 more days!! Me and my friend found a buck from our chocolate program!! He is beautiful!!!! Im gonna go to a Arabian farm tommorrow. I get to help my grandma. This ladys Arabs are soo well be haved. Anyways, I will post later.

Clean Up Time

Hi. Well yesterday I cleaned the bunny barn. Thanks to my moms help, it went fairly fast. I cleaned up the poop, while she organized my rabbitry. Thanks mom!! :D I also admirred the baby bunnies. And of course I already have a couple favorites. One is a fat little black baby from Gracy. And the other is a little broken baby from Secret Score. So cute!!

Since the smell that comes from rabbit poop, is really hard on baby bunnies lungs, im gonna start cleaning every other day. Luckily I have somebody coming to get bunny poop today!! Yippee!

Baby Pics!!!!!!

Hi. Once again my little Nakita proved me wrong. After writting the othe blog this morning, i went out to do my chores. And of course Nakita had babies!!! There are 6. 3 brokens, and 3 solids!! Anyways, i will get pics of them in a couple days. Here are pics of everybody elses babies!!! Enjoy!!

Hmmm

Hi. Im starting to wonder if Nakita is pregant. She is 2 days late. Thats not like Nakita. She is usally right on time. She has the biggest belly though. Melody doesnt look like she is gonna have babies. She just lays in her box. This is her 2nd time not being pregant. Im gonna rebreed her one last time. I like using the "3 strikes, your out" method.

All the babies are doing GREAT!!! I have heard that alot of people are losing litters. My does are always very good about keeping there babies warm. Sometimes they will sit in the box with the babies. Un limeted milk supply to the babies. Lol. Both Gracy and Shasta pulled alot of hair. Secret Score didnt pull as much, and she didnt do a very good job of cleaning up her afterbirth mess. Im gonna clean the nestboxes as soon as everybodys eyes are open, and they have hair.

Mom says that they open there eyes in 4 days. Hmm, i cant rember!!! It has been so long since I have had babies!! I will have to right it down this time.

Roman will be 2 in June. That means im keeping a buck from Secret Score. Im not like most breeders, that let their brooddoes have so many litters with them, and then sell them. I keep all my bunnies. They are very close to me. Well, i shouldnt say all. Lol. :) I will post next time, hopefully with some baby pictures!!!! :D

They Just Keep Coming, And Coming..

Hi. The title says everything. Lol. Secret Score had her babies. She had 8. All are fat and healthy. Gracy and Shastas babies are doing good. Secret has some brokens, and some solids. :) 3 down, 3 to go! :)

More Babies!!!

Hi. Im keeping everyone updated. Gracy had her babies!! Shasta has 7 looks like some golds, and torts, posibly some blacks. Gracy also had 7, there are 5 "pinks" and two blacks. They all have fat little bellies, and all are warm. Both moms pulled a genourous amount of hair. Sweetpea doesnt really act pregant. She really hasnt made much of a nest. She kinda just mixed the shavings and hay together. Hmmm, we will see!! In a couple days i will get pics of the babies. :)

Babies!!!!!!

Hi. I just thought i would tell you, that Shasta had her babies!!!!! Im not sure how many. I will know for sure tommorow. I thought there was 6 or 7.

Babies....

Hi. I gave Gracy, Sweetpea, and Shasta there nestboxes today!! I put about 2 inches of sawdust at the bottom, and TONS of hay. They all jumped in, and starting making nests!! Tommorow Secret Score, Melody, and Nakita get there nest boxes.

I think im gonna either be getting some Mini Lops from Hoppin Herd Of Hares, or Judy's Rabbitry. Judy lives in Canada, and The other lives in Oklahoma. So... I think im leaning more towards Oklahoma. (Just because its closer). But Judy has some AMMAZING bunnies for sale!!! Im still tempted to buy something from her. We will see.

I went on a 18 mile bike ride today! My bum hurts alot!! It was from Ashland to Central Point. A long ways, but it was fun!!

Chocolate Mini Lops!!!!

Hi. I have found someone to help me with my chocolate Mini Lop program! My friend Sam is gonna help me. So i will have the buck, and she will have the doe. Or the other way around. All the bunnies are good. Not much to talk about. TTYL.

Mini Lop Varierty

Hi. Remeber I said I was gonna breed the BEW Mini Lops as my "project" varierty. Well I have changed my mind. Im for sure gonna be working with the chocolate varierty. :) This will be exciting!!! All the bunnies are good. We are just preparing for the cold weather. Im considering getting a heater to put in the barn when the babies are born. That way, they will be warm, if its cold outside. :) Anyways i will post in a couple days. :) TTYL.

POSITIVE!!

Hi. So far I have 3 does that palpate POSITIVE!! They are Shasta, Sweetpea, and Secret Score. Gosh, you can tell Secret Score is pregant, just by looking at her HUGE belly!! Lol. Im very excited!! Im going out this morning to work with Saphire. She is doing alot better with riding!! We practiced getting Windancer in the trailer yesterday, and she was soo good!!!! Not much going on lately. Bunny News.......

Hi!! Not much going on lately. I went to a stable to ride my trainers horse, since mine didnt want to get in the trailer. Her horse is a Tennesee Walker. When he "gaits" it was sooo fun! He also does a "Spanish Walk." Very cute! Lol.

The bunnies are all good. I got my stacking cage set up in the rabbitry. I rode Saphire today. I will post in a couple days. TTYL

Clean Up Time

Hi. I just noticed today how badly my rabbitry needed cleaned! So i took out all the poop, and put "stall dry" under there cages, to elimanate odor. It works really well!! I also bleached some water bottles, im gonna bleach the rest tommorow, and clean the feeders. I will probly clean the rabbitry once more before the babies are due.

I went to Big R today. I got a rabbit cage, and legs to make 2 more! Im excited to be getting more cages, plus we are ordering more out of a catalog.

For some of our rabbit water bottles, we use "Flip 'N Fill" water bottles. These are the greatest bottles ever!! You just lift the top up, fill the bottle, and close the top! That simple. Well about a year ago they disscontinued Flip 'N Fill water bottles. When i went to Big R today, they had them! I was so excited! I got 3 of them, and i plan to get more!

I let Lacy and her babies out to play in the grass (and eat it), while i cleaned the rabbitry. They loved it.

The bunnies are all doing great. I love how Creampuff is maturing. She could still use a better crown, ear, head piece, and more fuller hindquarters, but we will see how see matures! TTYL.

MINI LOP NATIONALS!!!!!!!!!

Hi! Im planning on going to Mini Lop Nationals. Im gonna hopefully see about leasing some does, and maybe buying some, and breeding for Mini Lop Nationals!! Im soo excited!! I cant wait to go!!! And if i dont make it, i will sell what i dont want, and keep what i do. All the bunnies are good. Guess what!!! They have broken black NZ now!!!! I cant believe it! Maybe i can breed broken red NZ?? We will have to see! I will post later.

Its GREEN!!!!

Hi! Ok so usally my rabbit food is kinda a brownish color. Well i just bought more rabbit food, and this time it is GREEN!!!! The bunnies like it alot more! Except Thumper, so im gonna buy some regular 'brown' feed to give to Thumper. I think the 'green' rabbit food is to rich for him. Lol. Well i bred all my does except Lacy, and my Mini Lop Creampuff. Yes i fianlly got my new Mini Lop doe. She is a cream color. But i think she is turning into a true Linx!!! That would be cool if she did.
So anyways, Im gonna probly end up keeping a buck from Secret Score. And if she doesnt take, then im gonna sell her, and replace her. I might even get a BEW buck when i get more room!! Im very excited. I might get sell Sweetpea. I really like her, but im making some tough desions, to get more into my Mini Lop BEW program. Im searching around for some good BEW, if you have any let me know!!

New Bunny!!!

Yesterday i bought my new Mini Lop doe from Alison Young of Mapleears Rabbitry!!! Her name is Creampuff, and her color is cream. Very nice type for being so young.
I bred Gracy, Sweetpea, and Shasta yesterday. Tonight i put Secret Score in with Roman, Melody in with Harley, and Nakita in with Snickerdoodles. So tommorow i will put them back in there own cages. I will palpate them in about 15 days to see if they are pregnant.
Rember how I said Secret Scores fur is bad??? Well her fur has turned into a lovely thick rolling coat. And her type has improved alot!!! So i think she was just going through her gangly stage. Im gonna get her bred once more, then show her some more then bring her back to the breeding program.
Im considering seeing if Alison will take Roman and Secret Score to show in Albany. Maybe, we will see. Well thats it for now.

Mini Lops

Hi. I went to a annul pumpkin carving yesterday. It was sooo much fun!!!! The pumpkin seed fights were so intense!!! Lol.
Anyways, im hoping that we are gonna get a new addition to Sunset Rabbitry. She is a junior cream Mini Lop doe. Im hoping to go check her out sometime. Im gonna be getting her from Mapleears Rabbitry! Visit her website at: www.freewebs.com/mapleears. It is a cool site, and she has some nice Mini Lops, and Mini Rex.
Im working on maybe in the near future getting into Pointed whites. If i do, im only gonna work with the chocolate pointed whites at first. Im gonna try to rebreed Secret Score today. Hopefully she takes, or im gonna probly sell her.

So far i have 17 rabbits. At one time i had 82 bunnies! It happened when i had to breed all my does for fair. (To keep all the poor love struck bucks at bay.) Lol. I breed all my does, and like allways they had 8+ babies per doe. With the exception of Gracy having 13! It doesnt suprise me. :)

Horse Show Results

Hi. I had alot of fun at the pinto show. I show Bethany my minature horse in a halter class, and a jumping class. Sadly they combined all the halters classes together do to lack of entries, and we did not get there in time to show Bethany in the halter class. But we did very well in jumping. In the first round she got first place. In the jump off she got 3rd because she knocked one down. But the turn was really tight, and the jumps were high, but she still did very good.

Litters

Hi! Tomorrow im taking Bethany to a horse show. Wish me luck. Lol. Im entering in a jumping class, a halter class, and a costume class!
Im gonna give Secret Score and Melody their nestboxes. Secret is getting a bigger tummy! Im not sure about Melody, she wont let me touch her. I think i should handle her more.
Sadly i didnt make it to the rabbit show in Glide. I had to help get firewood. Im not sure which show im going to next.
Im not sure about keeping Lacy's baby now. She is a great little doe, but i think i will hold her back, and she how she devolops.

Hi, sorry i havent posted in forever. Im pretty sure im gonna go to Mini Lop Nationals. Im pretty excited. I might be going to the show in Albany, and there i will be picking up my rabbit from Velvettouch Rabbitry.

Changing the rabbitry

We are changing the rabbitry a little bit. Im gonna change to stacking cages, and im gonna stop breeding Dutch. Oreo and Buddy are for sale. Im keeping Shasta, Thumper, and Sweetpea. Im also gonna breed Lynx Mini Lops! I will have 4 varierties at the rabbitry:Chesnut,Broken Gold Tipped Steel, Broken Chocolate, and Lynx. :D I bought a new pair of nail clippers yesterday. Im hopeing they will clip through Nakitas thick nails. LOL. I will post later.

A little hectic

Sorry i havent posted for a while, it has been a little hectic around here. I have someone coming to train Saphire. I got some time to breed Secret Score, and Melody. Im getting a new Mini Lop doe. I have named my bunny that im keeping from Lacy. Her new name is Puff. I sexed her, and she is a doe. Im pretty sure the other two are does also. Im almost positive im going to Mini Lop Nationals. Im pretty excited! Im gonna breed Secret Score today! The babies should be just in time for christmas! I sold Zambi. Im putting Oreo up for sale. I planned on using him for showmanship, but he wont work for me. I also have 3 Dutch bucks, and i only want 2. Im getting out of Dutch, and im making Mini Lops my main fancy breed.

Im running out of titles, so the title is kinda boring. Sadly we lost 2 more of Lacy's babies. :( Mine is still alive though. :) The rest of the bunnies are good. I gave Pluto away yesterday. He went to a great home. So i can keep Lucy Lop!!!! (Yes im gonna change his name). :) I dont think we are going to the 2009 Convention Sale. But if not we are going to Mini Lop Nationals 2009.

Pluto, Zambi, and Lucy Lop

Hi! Pluto, Zambi, and Lucy Lop are still up for sale. I would be more then happy to meet you at a show that im attending.

I have decided to make the trip to Mini Lop Nationals. Im also going to the double open show in Grants Pass September 27. Im considering going to the convention, if i go to the conventions, i might not go to Mini Lop Nationals. I still havent decided.

All the bunnies are good. Everybody is in a horrible molt! I hope they get a nice coat for the show in G.P. Im hoping i can bring my friend, and she can show her bunnies.

Well we are going fishing up at the lake today. I love fishing, so i hope i get something.

Good Morning! I wanted to tell my next show that I will be attending. ;) My next show is September 27 in Grants Pass. So far im taking: Thumper, Shasta, Roman, Secret Score, Lucy Lop, and Nakita. I was gonna take Lacy and Gracy, but you can only show purebreds. I still have to see which rabbit im gonna use for fur. Im not using Secret Score, or Shasta. This will be Lucy Lops last show. Im hoping i will have him sold before my next show. If not i will show him until he is sold. So if somebody wants him, I will gladly meet you at this coming show. I would also bring Pluto, if you wanted him. Im not showing Pluto, because of his bald spots. I will post later and tell you which rabbit im using for fur.

Rest of the horses

Ok here is the rest of the horses.

Fancy: 8 year old Medicine Hat Paint mare. Fancy is a nice broodmare. Saphire gave her roaring, so i cant ride her as much as i would like. Fancy is actually my grandmas horse. We are leasing Fancy out soon.

Windancer: This is my baby! I love this horse! Windancer is a 4 month old Paint filly! Wind is Fancys baby. Im keeping Wind, and im very excited!

All the bunnies are doing good. We moved some around. Im trying to make a new site, but it wont let me publish. :( Oh well, i will figure it out! ;)

Introduction To The Horses

Ok im gonna tell you a little bit about each horse of mine. Right now we have 6 horses.

Symphony: He is my very first horse. I've had him since I was eight, and im 13 now. Sym is a purebred Quarter Horse gelding. He is 26 years old and has arthritis. I can still ride and show him. I know he is the best horse in the world. I can promise you 1,010% NOTHING scares this horse. ;) This horse has taught me EVERYTHING about riding. How to hold on, how to move with my seat, and most importly how to give.

Hope: She is my second horse. I've had her for almost 4 years. Hope is a blind dapple gray welsh pony mare. I really like this little pony. She is not stubborn like most ponies. She is 18 right now. Im leasing her out to Hope Equestrian Center for disabled children. Im glad she is helping a little kid learn how to ride. This pony taught me how to learn to deal with a stubborn pony, and I learned to land on my feet!

Saphire: She was my 4th horse. I've had her for 4 months. Saphire is kinda stubborn, but i love her. Saphire is a 6 year old Quarter Horse/Arabian. This little horse is gonna teach me alot.

Bethany: She was my 3rd horse. Bethany is a 3 year old Minature Horse. I have had her for a year.

I will tell you the rest later right now i have to go. ;)

Dutch Lops

Hi again. I got bored and decided to post a little more. :) I was planning on making a new breed called Dutch Lops. I planned on breeding for them in a couple weeks. Im kinda limeted on space to put babies right now, but im working on getting more cages. ;) So I will have to hold it off for a while. We are working on rearrageing some rabbits. I plan on moving all the meat breeds to one end of the barn, and moving the fancy breeds to the other end of the barn. Im also going to change to stacking cages. As soon as I get enough, im gonna move the old cages out, and put the new in. Im also hoping to get misters set up in the barn. Im hoping we will have them done by next summer.

Well i have to go to town to get some things for the horses and pigs.

Hot Weather Takes 3

Hello. Yesterday I went to take a peek at the bunnies, and the heat was to much for Lacys babies. :( I brought them inside to try to save them, but we lost 3. I went out this morning, and the rest are alive and well. So Lacy has 5 babies now. Im keeping a doe from this litter, so there will be 4 avaliable for sale.

Pluto, and Lucy Lop are afficaly for sale! Pluto is free to a good home, and Lucy Lop is $15. Im looking for a Mini Lop doe to replace Lucy Lop.

Mini Lops

Hi. Sorry I havent posted for a while, I went to a wedding saturday, and didnt get home till sunday. The wedding was very fun. I went down to the river and caught some salamanders. I wanted to take a few home, but thought that i should wait until, i did some research about them. So i have decided i will just buy a couple at a pet store. ;)

All the bunnies are doing good. Lacy's litter is healthy and happy. Im keeping a doe from her litter. Pluto is up for sale. Very nice buck. ;)

Friday I was gonna breed Lucy Lop to LHHR Roman. I went to see if she was in heat, and turns out that Lucy Lop is a buck. :o I was kinda dissapointed, but oh well. So Lucy Lop is up for sale. Im looking for a doe to replace him.
I also got Secret Score from Lana on wendsday or thursday? She is a really nice doe! September 20 im breeding her to LHHR Roman.

"Real" Bunny News

Hello everybody! Right now im gonna list names, and breeds of my rabbits, so you know what rabbits im talking about, when i talk about them.

Bucks: Thumper (Dutch), Buddy (Dutch), Oreo (Dutch), Roman (Mini Lop), Snickerdoodles (Satin), Pluto (Holand Lop), and Harley (New Zealand).

Does: Lacy (New Zealand/ Californian), Sweetpea (Dutch), Lucy Lop (Mini Lop), Shasta (Dutch), Zambi (Satin), SnowBall ( New Zealand), Gracy (New Zealand/ Californian), and Nakita (Champange De' Argent).

Lacy, had her babies a few days ago! There are 9 healthy babies! There dad is Harley. We are planning on breeding all the does except Shasta, Sweetpea, and Zambi.

We are also getting a new rabbit to Sunset Rabbitry thursday! Her name is Secret Score, and she is a Mini Lop. I would like to thank Lana of Hip Hoppin Rabbitry for selling me this awesome doe!
